Day ??: The show goes on!

Well, it has been quite a few days since the last blog post. I'd like to say that it's because I've been without any kind of network connection, but that is only half the truth. The times I have had Wi-Fi access, I simply have not had the time to write anything.

We have ended up at a few (too many) hotels lately. That has been due to not finding any camping place that was open, had room or whatever other reason it might have been. We've been aiming at finding a camping site from about 16 onwards every day, and that works well in theory. But when the shit hits the fan, it's 22 o'clock and the sun is setting,  then you're forced to take whatever hotel that happens to be open. You check in, get your stuff to the room, take a shower, have to go out to eat, and by the time you're all set for the night, it's already 01... not great when you try to get up at around 7-8 every morning.

So, day before yesterday it turned out to be a 4-star hotel, and trust me, we had visited and tried every single other hotel in the whole city. Then again, it's not like I'm complaining, we got to swim in a swimming pool and catch some sauna, before we went out and ate the meatiest dish I've ever had. It was delicious, and had like five different kinds of meat!

Other than that, we've already left Germany behind us, as we entered the Netherlands just a few hours ago.
We are hoping on reaching Amsterdam within the coming few days. There we will stay for three or so days, all still entirely open for sudden and drastic changes.

I hope I will compensate the lack of posts with some of the pictures I've managed to take. Keep in mind that about 95% of the pictures are taken while on the bike (pretty accurate to how much we bike ^^ ).

  1. it looks like you're seeing a lot of beautiful places :) I hope you enjoy your stay at amsterdam. I've heard it's pretty small so cycling around it should be easy :)
